Lloyd Talent is a division of Think Projects, Inc. registered in Canada and the USA. Lloyd Talent began operating in 1995 and is a licensed talent agency in BC. #BA-2022-057602 Think Projects, Inc. dba Lloyd Talent.
Lloyd Talent represents talent in film, television, commercials, voice-over and print as a boutique agency. Lissa and Tom feel that a boutique agency allows for an environment that leads to a closer understanding of the needs of a talent and allows for more of a unity in achieving goals. We also seek talent interested in long term representation, some of our talent have now being with Lloyd Talent for over twenty years.
We are always seeking new talent and Lloyd Talent can help narrow the gap from students finishing their acting classes and trying to find the next path.
Lissa Lloyd
Lissa is the senior agent representing and managing all the principal talent signed to Lloyd Talent. Born in Toronto, Lissa became involved in music at a very young age. She is an accomplished musician and has trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in piano, voice and flute. She has toured and recorded as a soloist, and with various bands and vocal groups and has experience in musical theatre. In 1984 Lissa attended university in British Columbia and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Business and minors in English, Education and Music. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing and in 1989 began Lloyd Talent Agency in Vancouver and Lloyd Talent Management in Los Angeles. Lissa's interests include health and fitness, herbology and naturalpathic medicine, travel, music, wine, cooking, pilates, yoga and cycling. She is a competitive trail and marathon runner in both Canada and the United States and enjoys the sport of competitive rowing as a member of the BC and Canadian National Rowing Association. Her favourite pastimes are daily work-outs and training, motorcycling and spa pamperings whenever possible.
Tom Gusway
Tom's experience is in the management of talent and the application of technology to the talent industry. Born in Regina Tom moved to Vancouver and honed photography skills in the world of fashion which led to International model management and eventually opening an agency in Los Angeles in the late eighties. Being a part of the Los Angeles community and having models begin successful acting careers in film and television resulted in the decision of Lissa and Tom to create Lloyd Talent to guide talent careers for film and television. In addition to the assistance in the operations of the Vancouver agency, Tom has an extensive knowledge base for talent management in Los Angeles.
Tom also has a wide knowledge of computers and internet technology and was commissioned to oversee the opening and operations of a Los Angeles division of a premiere casting service. Tom still uses his technology skills to keep Lloyd Talent updated with the best systems to operate an agency and represent talent efficiently.
Tom is also an entrepreneur with investments in other companies outside of the talent industry. He is an avid reader, rides motorcycles, and loves chess and crossword puzzles.
Maria Croucher
Maria Croucher is our bookkeeper and brings over 20 years of office administration and bookkeeping experience to the team. Her well rounded skill set and experience includes office management of small to medium sized businesses in a variety of industries. She is an enthusiastic and hands on learner and loves to be challenged. Maria and her husband keep busy with their blended family of 5 children, from teens to young adults, who all benefit from Maria’s love of baking, cooking and party planning.
